Sports Journalists Needed In New Delhi

An English newspaper belonging to one of India's leading media groups needs sports journalists for its upcoming website.

The openings are based in New Delhi.

Selected candidates will be required to ensure the smooth running of the sports section of the website. For this, they will have to create sports-related content (news stories, features, blogs, analysis, polls, photo galleries, etc).

They will have to edit and provide headlines for copies filed by staff reporters and news agencies, and publish them on the website.

They will also write for the newspaper, for which they may have to undertake reporting assignments.

Journalists with a background in sports journalism may apply. Freshers who are keenly interested in sports may also apply.

The applicants must have very good writing and editing skills. They should be familiar with the internet.
