Requirements:

Educational Qualification: Graduate or Post Graduate in Mass Communication Or Graduates/Post Graduates in Technology/Economics/English/Psychology/Sociology/Physics/Mathematics

CMS Media Lab requires News Analyst - Internship Opportunities Available

There are openings available at the CMS Media Lab for bright and motivated candidates for the post of Media Analyst for its media monitoring initiative. The work responsibility will be to analyze how news media cover major issues and what their priorities and policies are.

Academic Qualifications:
- Applicants should have completed or should be pursuing one of the following:
- Graduation or Post Graduation in Mass Communication or TV/ Print Journalism
- Undergraduate or Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication

Skills
- Analytical mind with news sense.
- Command of English.
- Proficiency if not thorough understanding of Hindi.

You should also have:
- Curiosity and the desire to learn.
- Interest in current affairs.

Opening with the US Embassy

The US Embassy is recruiting for a Field Open Source Officer (Media Analyst) to assess and analyse Hindi and Urdu media and media environment, to identify media trends, collection information relevant to the office's area of interest, create analytic multimedia products, translate selected material from vernacular media sources.

Minimum requirements:
- A university degree in media studies
- Journalism, political, science, economics, history, anthropology, geography, lirbary science
- English, Hindi or Urdu, translator capacity in English
- Fluent in Hindi and Urdu

Incumbent will be required to travel. Salary will depend on qualifications and experience.
