Fever 104 was launched through a technical collaboration between Hindustan Times and Virgin Radio on 30th Oct 2006. After kick-starting the first station in Delhi, Fever 104 is now present in the cities of Mumbai, Bangalore and will be soon present in Kolkata as well.
HT Music & Entertainment acquired the necessary radio broadcast licenses in Jan 2006 and Virgin Radio International is assisting HT Music operationalize these licenses by pr! oviding radio management expertise, with a particular focus on programming.

Position: Senior Sales Executive

Reports To : Manager Sales

Location: Mumbai

Purpose Of Role: Work closely with the Manager Sales on all matters related to the sale of airtime for the station. Enhance revenue through direct sales w/advertising agencies and clients

Purpose :
Work closely with the team leader on all matters rela! ted to the sale of airtime for the station. Enhances revenue t! hrough d irect sales w/advertising agencies and clients

Responsibilities:

A ) Implement sales strategy
Tasks
- Enhance revenue through direct sales w/advertising agencies and clients
- Create, maintain and enhance relationships with accounts in identified categories.
- Develop relationships with business clients, in and out of present client categories.
- Devise and deliver presentations to demonstrate the value of the Station's dominating and specialized consumer market while referencing syndicated research data such as Nielsen, etc.
- Optimise current agency and client relationships
- Function strategically and tactically to position the S! tation to dominate the radio space.
- Develop sales plans and goals by studying and understanding the station's market and seek approval all sales promotion campaigns from the Sales Head
- Determine price schedules and discount rates in tandem with the Station Head and Sales Head.
- Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
Monitor and analyse sales and marketing activity against goals.
- Scan the environment to gain insights into competitor strategies, potential business opportunities and market trends

B) Monitor competition and Maintain Relationships with external Agencies / clients
- Be constantly aware of new trends in media.
- Identify and resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
- Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.


Personal Profile Required :
Qualification & Experience : MBA with Min 3-4 years of sales experience ,radio or broadcasting experience would be an added advantage.

Job Description

Producer : Role and Customers: The producer is responsible for the quality, relevance and on-time delivery of content on Yahoo! properties. Part editor and writer, part creative strategist and total on-line visionary, a producer is at the very heart of what we do —— delivering branded media pro perties to the most sought after audiences on the Internet. And since great content attracts great advertising, producers build our brand while boosting our revenues. Producers strive to identify good compelling content that will
attract and retain Yahoo! users.

The role of the Producer is to manage and deliver content on Yahoo's vertical content products (e.g. Sports, News, etc.).

Each Producer is responsible for 2-3 content areas (channels) and will plan and manage editorial activities and work closely with the product development and engineering teams to enhance and/or add new features on existing and new products. The Producer is also responsible for event management including contests, polls and specials.

The Producer coordinates content partner relationships to drive the content for single or multiple channels. To achieve this, the Producer must have vision to identify good content and understand the technology that will deliver the content.

Key Responsibilities: Identify and coordinate content partner relationships to drive the content for single or multiple channels.
Accountability: Responsible for key properties including news and related properties.

Associate Producer
Key Responsibilities: Responsible for working with a senior level producer to learn and master the basics of how to manage content products. Will manage content delivery and editorial activities to build and sustain PVs and UUs.
Act as the front line person for questions on content; creating schedules, documentation and other tools to communicate and manage editorial activities.
Will provide feedback to product management team to implement improvements /enhancements /features on existing products and new products
Accountability: Responsible for movies and entertainment-related properties. May be assigned to work on multiple channels.
Leadership: Provided with close direction and guidance from a senior level producer.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Should have a college degree with post-graduation/PG diploma in journalism/mass communication. At least 3 years experience managing content for an online property, preferably entertainment-related.
Excellent writing and editing skills with keen understanding of the film world. Complete familiarity with online editing and publishing tools. Should also be extremely comfortable with computers and the Web.
Should be able to work within a cross-functional team environment and have good organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Content Editor
The Editor (Content Solutions rep) is responsible for providing high quality service to Yahoo! Search Marketing (YSM) India advertisers. The role is responsible for developing sales proposals to be presented to advertisers for their specific Web sites, editing and reviewing incoming orders from clients and determining that search terms are relevant in accordance to YSM's advertisers' policies. You will be promptly handling client issue! s using a great deal of professionalism, sensitivity, and common sense.
Experience: 2 – 3 yrs
Qualification: Any graduate, preferably BA, English literature, communications.
